Wedding Story

Event of Happiness operates on the amazing tenet of providing all of their clients' needs. Whether it's venue reservations, décor (we usually keep engagement ceremony decorations modest, with soft lights and delicate flowers serving the entire purpose), or proposing and other fundamental arrangements like music and photography, we always strive to create an equally wonderful event, day or night.

The traditional Indian spa ritual is similar to the Haldi ceremony. During this ritual, family members apply turmeric (haldi) paste to the bride and groom's hands, feet, and face in an effort to "beautify" them. This rite is thought to offer good fortune and shield the bride and husband from bad luck, ensuring a trouble-free wedding. The bride's family typically hosts a mehendi ceremony. Women assemble to sing, dance, and apply mehendi to their hands and feet. At this event, the bride has her Mehendi done as well. Because the bride's family, friends, and relatives are gathered to celebrate her happiness, the ceremony holds great significance for her.

In every Indian couple, there is a Bollywood buff within. Those DDLJ songs come blasting from the speakers, the moment the pandal goes up. And what would be a better way to pay tribute to this love by hosting a Bollywood themed sangeet at your wedding! The truth: Everyone hosts one Indian-themed event on the wedding week and each one these days looks the same.

Why have the same old Baraat that probably everyone in your wedding has already danced to, including you yourself? Well, it's 2024 guys, and it's time to do things with a little twist! We have some cool trendy Baraat ideas, which are great to take inspiration from if you have your wedding coming up!

The Indian wedding industry is experiencing significant changes as it incorporates global trends while staying true to its cultural roots. Whether it's the impact of the pandemic, which has given rise to intimate weddings, the embracing of unconventional ideas like court marriages followed by a grand celebration, a shift away from 'more is more' in fashion, or the surge in multicultural marriages, weddings in India have come full circle.
